RETURN POLICY
Your complete shopping satisfaction is our top priority, and we want you to be happy with every purchase. However, if you find yourself unsatisfied with a product due to unforeseen circumstances, please review the following terms for a mutually agreeable resolution. We strive to ensure you never have to utilize this policy.
Order Cancellation:
Once an order is placed, it cannot be canceled after 24 hours. Since our garments are handmade, we begin cutting the fabric after this period.
Return Process:
- Contact Us First: Please do not send back any items without prior notification. It's crucial to verify with us before returning items, as returns without prior approval will not receive credit or replacement.
- Shipping Costs: Any shipping costs incurred for returning items to India beyond what was initially paid by the customer are the customer's responsibility.
- Return Timeline: We will arrange for pickup within 5-7 working days of your confirmation. Items must be returned in their original packaging and condition—unworn, unwashed, unused, and unaltered. Please include a copy of your invoice. Please note that returns are not accepted for stitched clothing or handwork.
Responsibility for Returns:
Just as we ensure safe delivery to you, it is your responsibility to send items back safely to us. If the package is lost in transit, we cannot assist. Please use a reliable courier service, provide us with the tracking details, and keep the airway bill until it reaches us. Remember to mark the items as defective order returns.
Chargebacks/Refunds:
Currently, we do not offer a return or exchange policy for international customers. For any inquiries, please contact us at indiehaat.handmade@indiehaat.com.
- If you need to cancel your order, please do so within 24 hours for a full refund. After shipping, cancellations are not possible, and no refunds will be issued. A transaction fee of approximately 5% will be deducted from the total amount.
- If you receive a defective product, contact us immediately at indiehaat.handmade@indiehaat.com or via WhatsApp with your Order ID and a photo of the defect. We will either provide credit notes or send a replacement.
Inspect Your Parcel:
When accepting a delivery, inspect the outer packaging for any damage or tampering. Verify the quality and quantity of the items against your invoice before accepting the package. If you notice any discrepancies, either refuse the delivery or accept it with appropriate remarks on the proof of delivery. Please lodge a formal complaint with the courier agency so we can follow up.

Contact Before Returns:
Customers must contact us before returning any product. Returns made without prior notification will not be eligible for a refund.
- In the case of a genuine fault on our part, we will issue a refund or replace the product at no additional charge.
Address Issues:
If an order is returned due to an incomplete or incorrect address, we are not responsible and will not issue any refunds. Delivery times indicated on our website are approximate; delays may occur due to factors beyond our control. We are not liable for delays or issues related to stock availability. We will notify you by email of any significant shipping delays, but all delivery dates are approximate. We may choose to deliver your order in separate parts.
Refund Policy
- Once your return has been authorized, we’d be happy to process your refund. You can choose to receive the refund:

- In the form of store credit where you can buy an item of up to 10% more price with the same amount and there is no expiry date to credit. After all, we would like to correct the mistake where we have gone wrong.
- However, if you’d like to receive the amount back to the same payment mode that you used to place this order or any other mode you wish (Wallet / Bank Transfer), we will initiate the refund after we receive the item, and it has gone through the necessary quality checks.
